Goals

Cheese

Compréhensions : Being able to understand familiar words and simple expressions when the other person speaks slowly and clearly  on the street, in a store, in a supermarket, at the train station, in an administration in the world of work.

Speech : Being able to communicate simply with a minimum of vocabulary to book a hotel, order in a restaurant or ask for directions in a French speaking country. Being able to discuss with your colleagues in the office, in meetings or with customers or suppliers.

Wrinting skills : Being able to write short simple sentences in the present, future and past.

By the end of level A2, you will be able to  :

  • Present oneself (educational background, job, family, neighbourhood)

  • Discuss hobbies and daily activities

  • Enquire about goods in a shop and buy what one needs

  • Place an order for a meal in a restaurant ( with or without the menu)

  • Reserve a room in a hotel (face to face)

  • Ask for basic services in a post office or a bank

  • Present one’s medical problem to a doctor

  • Inquire about a trip to a travel agency

  • Choose and use public transport (buses, trains, and taxis)

  • Ask the route and give directions

  • Buy tickets (film, train, play, etc)

  • Read notices, posters, catalogs, timetables, brochures, menus, advertisements, signs

  • Write notices and simple messages

  • Understand time, dates, and places from notice boards and announcements

  • Understand instructions and requests such as client orders and delivery dates.

  • Describe events and activities in past, present, and future

  • Easily appear for DELF A2 Exam
